Field Trip Day is dedicated to the art of the wander. Come and see Northeast for the first time or with new eyes: for on this one day she will reveal herself through over 30 quirky, historic, artsy and just plain odd destinations.

Meander with us through one of the oldest and most beloved neighborhoods in the city. Explore the labyrinthian confines of sprawling artist studios, happen upon tiny secret doorways, bask in the glow of gilded religious iconography, see enormous puppets come to life, or play bocce ball a-top a mass grave -- Northeast Minneapolis is your oyster. Together we'll find hidden places, discover secret histories, and unearth the unusual.

There are no right choices, no wrong turns - but there are treasures to be uncovered just out of sight.

Details after the jump
