out with the NOW, in with the...Older

96.3 NOW (the KDWB clone that replaced b96) has switched again, welcome to k-twin radio. 96.3 NOW released a statement, explaining their new format.

Tony Fly
"Thank you for listening to 96.3 NOW. We are changing our programming on January 1, 2012 to better fit the opportunity that is available in the Twin Cities. If you enjoy local programming with personalities like KARE 11's Eric Perkins, Tony Fly, Danni Starr, Lisa Wright, Dan Riggs and Dan Jordan, please try the New 96.3 K-TWIN. And if you are looking for a mix of music from artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Blink 182, Adele, Soul Asylum and more we'd love for you to give us a listen. Thanks again and Happy New Year." via

It will be interesting to see how it plays out.   What was the first song played on the new station?    Soul Asylum's "Misery."
